Christmas short lived

Merry Christmas Everybody! Well Christmas in the Zenga house was fun but short-lived. Little Stella was in the ER on Christmas Eve with a 103.6 tempurature, but was sent home with tons of children's tylenol and sudephed. She slept all day and night. She woke up Christmas day and opened all her presents. She got a few leapster games from her Grandma and Grandpa Z, a hello kitty tent, sleeping bag, puzzle and stickers from her cousin Tyler and Michelle! And mommy and daddy got her a barbie princess and princess purse complete with princess phone, make up, car keys, and princess money and credit cards. Santa thought Stella had been a very good girl and brought her a beautiful princess canopy bed. It is perfect for our princess. Unfortunately, after all the presents, Stella went back into her sick coma. She slept for the rest of the day and night. All the while her temperature would not get below 102. The next morning she woke up with another fever of 103.8. We took her back to the ER and her fever rose to 104.4. Stella had to get an IV while in the ER and another chest x-ray. Turns out she has a light case of Pneumonia. So they gave her some antibiotics and loaded us up with MORE tylenol, and motrin. She's been sleeping ever since. Her fever has come down, but she still feels somewhat icky. Today she is feeling better and tomorrow has a follow up appt. Hopefully she will be feeling much better by then. We will keep you posted.
